Assert Yourself for Safety and Happiness Workshop

 

Purpose:

To equip, empower and inspire participants to develop assertiveness skills to maximise their safety and enhance their wellbeing and happiness.

 

Duration:

2 – 3 hours (custom-made to meet client needs)

 

Target audience:

Men and women of all ages, personal and professional backgrounds.

 

Participant numbers:

Up to 200 participants

 

Learning objectives:

This workshop is custom-made to meet client needs. Topics include:

  • Assertiveness self assessment
  • What is assertiveness?
  • Benefits of assertive communication
  • Developing assertiveness skills
  • Practical application
  • Action plan
  • Teaching children to be assertive
  • Assertiveness quiz

 

Learning methods:

Lecture-style presentation with visual aids complemented with individual, group and class activities, role-plays, brainstorming, discussion and demonstrations. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.
